Private water for the exclusive use of Northern New Mexico Fly Fishing Properties and Guests
This photo was taken during early run off 2005. The lease encompasses a mile of the upper Rio Vallecitos located 1 1/2 hours from Santa Fe. Fishing includes native browns, stocked rainbows and the rare Rio Grande cutthroat.

The leased property is a narrow mountain valley and the river flows through fields of timothy hay and along pine covered hillsides. Here is one of the fields on the last day of June.
After run off, the river is prime free stone fishing with numerous pools and runs. Access is easy the entire stretch. Photo is from an early July morning on the middle stretch.
